It's hard to believe now but acclaimed comic actor Leslie Nielsen - the dashing duke of the deadpan one-liner - actually started out in serious roles. Of course, given that the Regina-born octogenarian has been acting professionally since the 1950s (!), it's no wonder his dossier includes comedies, dramas, sci-fi, horror films, children's movies and lots and lots and lots of TV work. From The Poseidon Adventure to Airplane!, Creepshow to Spy Hard, Nielsen has done it all.
