Is this article meant to imply that there is a narrow range of "approved" father types? I remember when many different types of men were fathers, however society seems to be devolving to the point where fathers are portrayed as either androgynous non entities or evil redneck ruffians who the children must protected from by family courts which run on preconceived notions.
