I think the "You had me at hello" line should have been a great line, but for me now has to rank as one of the cheesiest lines delivered in any romantic movie. It comes across as too manufactured and too much of an actor's line. Something like "Shut up and kiss me" would have been more believeable with that actress. It should have had a lead in, like "Oh my God, you had me at hello", where the "Oh my God" is said in such as way as to convey relief and joy and all the other emotions that she was feeling when she realized that he loved her and had come back and really did not need to say anything - a version of Love is never having to say your sorry.
